LBN â?? Fiskerton 2008

Just into June (4th) and the weather had, at last, made a change for the better. A pleasant warm evening saw just eight bikes leave the Centurion on its short journey to the Tyrwitt Arms, on the outskirts of Fiskerton. Geordie took the position as lead rider and I acted as â??Tail End Charlieâ??. Having welcomed newcomer Bob to his first LBN ride two weeks ago so it was Tinaâ??s turn to join us for the first time on this ride-out. We rode out through Lincoln and returned via Bardney and Branston. Two highlights for me were seeing a very smart 90 degree twin cylinder Hesketh machine; a very rare bike these days, and a highly customised Chopper. Both bikes are a credit to their owners!

A nice evening ride, but yet again a very poor turnout.
